Jennifer Lopez is thrilled that P Diddy called her butt "a work of art."

"We spent three years of our lives together, you know almost every single day," the 45-year-old singer said on "Access Hollywood" Wednesday, according to Page Six. "Seeing him involved in Revolt and all the things that he's done as a businessman and still being so true to his music and his art trying to uplift his community in his own way, and it's the same thing that I try to do and I feel like I learned a lot from him coming up, watching him."

"He gave me so many cues and taught me so many things," Lopez added. "I'll always be grateful to him for that and I love that he can be so supportive of me so many years later and there's still so much mutual respect, admiration and love there."

Diddy is one of Lopez's many failed romances. Most recently, the "I Luh Ya Papi" singer was forced to break up with boyfriend Casper Smart, who had been cheating on her with a transexual webcam model.

Despite Lopez's apparent incompatibility with the male race, she is still convinced she will one day find The One.

"I still believe in love. The nirvana man, he's out there somewhere," Lopez recently told ELLE UK. "But you just have to work at it. You have to work at everything. Every single album I have ever made is about love. But I am not going to give up. I've got to hope that if I keep going, I will eventually get it right."

"Everybody has seen that I make mistakes. I rush in, I get swept up and I ignore the signs,"  Lopez added, likely in reference to Casper's transgressions.

"Each time it goes wrong, it's hard. I get really hurt but I have to let myself go: 'What did I do? What can I learn?' And as hard and as hurtful as things get, I want to believe I will be able to go one step higher."
