According to Ross' lawyer, the LP is "dropping soon."

Never one to shy away when the chips are down, Rick Ross has no plans of slowing down this year.

Despite his current legal ordeal, where the Maybach Music head honcho spent time behind bars last week on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and kidnapping charges, Rozay is putting the past behind him now that there is word about a brand new album.

According to Ross's lawyer, Adamma McKinnon, to The Daily Beast, Ross is prepping an eighth studio album, tentatively titled Black Dollar

If the title sticks, Black Dollar will be the follow-up to Rozay's 2014 double-whammy, which saw the March release of Mastermind and Hood Billionaire in November.  Besides revealing the title, McKinnon added that the album will be "dropping soon."

As far as how Ross has been mentally during the legal ordeal, McKinnon said the "Hustlin'" rapper is in "high spirits."

"He's someone who has reached a certain plateau and there are people after celebrities like [Roberts] and looking for monetary gain," she said.
