If there’s anything that Donald Trump proved with his improbable U.S. Election victory over Hillary Clinton it’s this: anyone, regardless of political experience, can run for president. And if there’s anyone who has proven to succeed in whatever he sets his eyes on, that would be Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. This is exactly why he has now talked about the possibility of “The Rock For President 2020.”

From the WWE to Hollywood and now, to the White House?

You heard it right. The Rock is considering the possibility of running for the U.S. Presidency for the 2020 elections. In a recent interview with Paul Chi for Vanity Fair, The Rock, who is now the world’s highest-paid actor, was asked about a presidential bid in which he answered:

“I wouldn’t rule it out. It would be a great opportunity to help people, so it’s possible. This past election shows that anything can happen.”

This may shock others, but to many, this is totally characteristic of The Rock. He has actively been involved with the Republican party, even speaking in the 2000 Republican National Convention. In March, he also teased about a possible “The Rock For President 2020” run via Twitter, as reported by Rob Goldberg in the Bleacher Report. Truly, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson isn’t just about the fame.

Ever since Donald Trump was elected to be the 45th U.S. President, there has been a widely negative response from the people. Anti-trump rallies have been ongoing until today and some are already talking about impeachment.

The negative response has certainly paved the way for some to look for plausible options for the 2020 elections as early as now, including The Rock. For now, the former WWE superstar-turned Hollywood big shot has his eyes set on some big projects including
Fast 8, Baywatch, and Jumanji. Don’t count him out of the 2020 elections yet though, The Rock may just be cooking up something big for us
