UPDATE: (Aug. 26, 9:13 p.m.): BET’s 106 & Park will not be on air for the rest of the week. At this moment there is no confirmation if this was preplanned or is the result of Blue Ivy comment and The Carters’ divine power.  It should be noted that on TVGuide.com has BET running movies instead of 106 & Park.

UPDATE: (Aug. 26, 6:28 p.m.): BET President of Music Programming Stephen Hill weighed in on the situation, apologizing to fans of the show, Beyonce and Jay Z and asking fans to not blame Karrueche. Read his statement below.

Chris Brown’s on-and-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran is receiving a lot of heat lately after a scripted episode of BET’s 106 & Park goes absolutely wrong. Last night (Aug 25), Tran said a joke about Blue Ivy’s hair. In a segment on BET’s 106 & Park titled “Top Six Things Blue Ivy Thought At The VMAs,” things ran smoothly until until Karrueche said thought number six. “I really did wake up like this because my parents never comb my hair,” Karrueche said. “Sorry Blue! I love you!” she added.

According to a TMZ report, script changes were made at the last minute and she had no chance to view it beforehand. Tran was forced to read the teleprompter because the show was live.  Sources also say Tran and her manager went off backstage because they too felt the joke was extremely mean and hurtful.
