This past Friday (Sept. 23), rumors swirled about Beanie Sigel allegedly getting jumped at a Bad Boy Reunion show in Philly. The incident was said to stem from the fact that Beanie and The Game had communicated about Game’s beef with Meek Mill after Beans got on Meek’s “OOOUUU” diss. Beanie also went on radio and said he’d “helped” some of the Dreamchaserswith their lyrics on the diss, which apparently didn’t help the situation.
Many people believed that Dreamchasers affiliate Teefy Bey was involved in the skirmish at the Bad Boy Reunion show, and when asked what happened that night in a new interview, Teefy gave his thoughts in the video above.
He started by explaining how, growing up in South Philly, he’s known Beans since the late ’90s and since they’re both Muslim, they’ve got a lot of respect for each other.
Then, at about the 8:10 mark, he addresses whether or not Beanie got jumped.
“Do I know anything about it? Yeah I know about it. I think [Beanie] passed out from his diabetic medication,” he says as everybody laughs in the background. “Everybody know what it is. Y’all see how I just explained all that history? How we pray and bump and niggas got respect for him and how we let him come to the studio to jump on the [“OOOUUU diss] and all that. And then he backdoored niggas with Game and them, telling niggas information that only the camp know. And not the information that you wrote something, because you didn’t. The information was worse than that, for the people. And then some other shit came into play that I don’t wanna talk about.
“You can’t put me on front street when I’m a real nigga, bro,” Teefy continues. “You ain’t gonna try to play me or play my family out or play my niggas out for a nut ass nigga named Game. That’s just the bottomline. You broke the code of ethics of the streets, Beans, with that move, bro. And a whole lotta other shit that I can’t talk about…that shit ain’t cool neither.
“I got real reasons to be mad at Mack,” says Teefy. “I always treated him with respect even though it was a lot of shit out there he coulda been got knocked the fuck out for, but at the end of the day, that was like the last straw that broke the camel’s back.”
