PLAINFIELD – Police released photos Sunday of a burglary suspect wanted in connection with an overnight break-in at a gas station in the Wauregan section of town.
Police went to the BP gas station, 309 Putnam Road, at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in response to an alarm sounding at the business, police said. Police found an open door and several items missing but no one was on the premises.
During the investigation, police gathered surveillance video footage which showed a possible suspect with the following description: a white male in his early twenties with a small to medium build with shoulder length dark hair, wearing a North Face hoody and carrying what appeared to be a camouflage backpack, police said.
Police said the burglar entered the business through the front door.
