NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Police are looking for a group of thieves who they said chased down a man in the Bronx on Christmas Eve night before robbing him at gunpoint.

The incident began around 9:15 p.m. when one man approached the 27-year-old victim and asked him for $20 in front of a bodega on East 170th Street in the Claremont neighborhood.

The victim refused and fled the scene when he saw two other men approaching from behind, police said.

THE BRONX — Two men were robbed in the Bronx after they arranged meetups with women on Instagram, police said Sunday.

On Dec. 3, a 24-year-old man went to Anthony Avenue near East 174th Street to meet a woman, officials said.
